Our latest release comes from an explosive combination of emerging, and well-established musical talent.
Starting off with the original artist from Japan, Tarot is a seasoned producer with great knowledge of sound engineering gained from his experience at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. Having played at legendary clubs, Limelight and Filter 14, Tarot has already produced records that have been supported by Stephane K, Saeed Younan and That Kid Chris.
Currently residing in Tokyo and working on a new album, Tarot delivers a unique release with 'Everything You Feel'. The original mix is packed with all the hints of the NYC after-hours madness. A weighty beat arrangement combines with distinctly creeping melodic elements and a remarkable hypnotic vocal resulting in a piece of music that is fit for captivating big rooms. Tarot also provides an Alternate Mix with a variation on the percussion. Being more bass driven, this mix beckons the deeper, more somber sounds of night.
Our first remix on this release is put forth by Portugal's finest and internationally acclaimed DJ Vibe. Also, known for his pioneering influence in the underground house music scene with releases on legendary Tribal America and Twisted Records, DJ Vibe?s status as a major house music artist, mover and shaker is stamped in his home country of Portugal where he also runs his infamous label Kaos Portugal. Longtime musical collaborations with Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Pete Tha Zouk and the second ingredient to the Underground sound of Lisbon (U.S.O.L.) along with Rui Da Silva, has established his signature sound worldwide. DJ Vibe delivers a memorable & techier remix that is set to captivate any crowd. His interpretation maintains the tradition of a perfectly fused tough beat with an intense low-end fit for the big rooms. This track revives the spirit of his massive infamous tracks...?I?ll take you? that destroyed the dancefloors a few years ago.
Also from Portugal, on remix duties, is DJ Cytric. This talented Lisbon resident has been pumping out productions since 2002 on such labels as Iberican Recordings, Magna Recordings, Afroboogie and Soundgroove. Creatively fusing his knock-out rhythmic beats with captivating melodic arrangements, his releases have had support from Chus & Ceballos, Luca Ricci, Victor Calderone and Cevin Fisher to name a few.
Cytric also presents us with a percussive party favor with a tribal drive. His rendition effectively builds energy and melody to subtle climactic effect. Synth and vocal treatment are refined and prominent, creating a very mature sounding record that is complete in every way. Also included for the tribal purists is a DJ Cytric dub that strips the synth arrangement and maintains a hard percussive edge.
Our final remix comes from BiG AL & Dr. Tang. Dr. Tang is known for his engineering work on all the past Quicksound projects including ?Stop Foolin? Around? which was picked up by Danny Tenaglia for the ?Back to Basics? compilation and then scheduled for release on Twisted Records. Dr. Tang has been very active in his studio work as of late. He combines with Ready Mix Records label owner and A&R BiG AL to produce a remix with a different vision. Beginning with a break beat and leading into a 4/4 cruiser, they transition through the track seamlessly and inject hints of funk, a dirty bassline and a layered synth completing this fresh and grooving interpretation. A clubbier approach to an already huge monster.
