this sets great...few classics at the end leaving all the Yanks in doubt wether its real or not! LOL
thats what what they played at the Hacienda not blue amazon or audion it was 1991 he was at the Hacienda that why its housey at the end of the set

^^^ Trust me I agree... everytime I hear plink plong music I want to gorge my eyes out... yet I'm not into the housey stuff either... I'd rather my music more prog, even tribal, relentless baselines with a chugg-chiga-chugg beat
Edit - Only plink plong I listen to is Trentemoller

Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....

To celebrate the opening of this exhibition, URBIS hosts the event and an opening night party in Second Life. Visitors can view selected artworks from the exhibition and join the party in the club with live DJ sets by Peter Hook, Sasha and Graeme Park.

The Exhibition:

Take a step back 25 years in time to the halcyon days of the Madchester music era and revisit the Hacienda, the legendary nightclub that became an international phenomenon and changed the face of the city forever.
Walk through the world famous Fac 51 doors to uncover some of the ideals and ideas behind its conception, as told by many of the creative minds that made it what it became. Relive the experiences of Peter Saville, Peter Hook, Tony Wilson, Ben Kelly and Rob Gretton through their own stories and items from personal collections, including previously unseen video footage, items from the club itself and the graphic design that was instrumental in shaping the club’s identity. The exhibition also includes the first ever showing of the complete collection of the Hacienda’s iconic birthday posters incorporates original scratch videos by Claude Bessy and Swivel, and of course, will pay tribute to the music played and performed there.
Finally, exhibition traces the impact the club had in shaping the economic and urban development of the city centre, into the unique and original Manchester we know and love today.
Hacienda themed events are organised throughout the exhibition, from talks and debates to film and gig screenings.
