Francois K, Vitalic or Dave Clarke might not be the first threenames to come to mind when you mention the DJ Chris Fortier. However,these are the last three records that close his recent 3 hr set at TheLoft in Barcelona. While many people may claim to knowChris’ sound, with their focus on continually labeling him one thing oranother, Chris is equally as focused on his efforts to push back themusical boundaries. It is testament to the man, that he continues todevelop his sound and musical direction, after all, as the man sayshimself “I just like to play good underground music, full stop.”
With a DJ career spanning 15 plus years, he has continually been acrowd favourite, confirmed by his very first residency at the legendary“Aahz” in Orlando through to more recent residencies at The Cross inLondon and at Twilo in New York. Since a debut European tour in 1997,Chris has gone on to consistently tour the globe behind numeroussingles, remixes and no less than 7 mix albums. September 15th, 2007 - Tru Visions Presents: Kalwi & Remi
Kalwi (Krzysztof Kalwat) and Remi (Remi Pospiech) have worked in show business for a few years as radio presenters. They met in autumn 2003, in RMI FM radio in Poznań (Poland). At that time they were working on popular programs for young people based on club music. They were the first in this part of Europe to play on the radio the music exactly that could be heard only in the best clubs. Their work was so similar that it was a natural either to compete or to join forces. They chose the second option and this is how the duet of Kalwi & Remi was created. They become DJ’s to whose parties came thousands of people. Kalwi & Remi became fascinated with trance music and tried their hand in the record studio. Their ideas with the radio colleague’s help gave an incredible effect. Their first album called 'Explosion' has become clubs and radio stations' hit all around Poland.
The legendary music concern, Ministry of Sound proposed the team Kalwi&Remi regular cooperation. They are now playing in clubs where the best dj’s in the world are play, for example Blackpool, The Syndicate in Bristol.

Vision is proud to present the monthly residency, FREAKuency, featuring four of the hottest DJ's Chicago has to offer. Hac Le - known for his contrast of light and dark emotive soundscapes, he has captivated crowds across the country with his energetic, chunky, throbbing beats, performing in Chicago. Mike Khoury - Known for his versatility as an opener, Mike has warmed up the room for many world class artists, so it's no surprise his sets have ignited dance floor madness. Milo Wahi - In the ever-changing world of the Chicago electronic dance music scene, he is a man on the rise. His sets feature customarily audacious and brazenly fresh tracks, inspiring the audience to expand their listening vocabulary as he simultaneously packs the dance floor time and again. Lee Foss - he has rapidly become one of Chicago's busiest, and most forward thinking djs, and plays a distinct mix of soulful techno, electro/tech/deep house, and minimal funk. Expect an eclectic mix of deep electronic music with shades of Detroit and Chicago roots, and enough electronic funk to shake a stick at!

The story started around 1997 when Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij met each other at a party. Piet already was into music and DJ'ing and had his own studio at the time. This sounded very interesting to Benno, who had no experience at all in producing. Benno already had a perfect ear for good melodies, due to his classical musical background by playing the piano and the keyboard. They decided to cooperate and the first releases as Pedro & Benno soon followed. After many successes under different artist name’s, the name Rank 1 was born in 1998, as a joke. They thought it would be nice to see this name at a number 1 position! But the joke became reality when 'Airwave' hit numerous charts at that position.
Nowadays the guys are working on a their second album. Rank 1 has a very tight schedule. In the weekends Piet is travelling around the world for the Rank 1 DJ-sets. Meanwhile Benno is creating new sounds. So when they meet up during the week they have lots inspiration for new records to come! Multi-talented DJ/producer/remixer Sasha is recognized as one of the worlds most innovative icons of the electronic genre. As the DJ thatrode into America on a tidal wave of adoration from the North of England's explosive early 90s club scene, Sasha for more than a decade has consistently sold out every venue, festival or club that has been honored to witness his legendary performance abilities.
Since early 2005 Sasha has performed his trademark power-packed, emotional sets on his one-of-a-kind, custom-made MAVEN controller crafted specifically for his Apple computer/ Ableton Live Software set-up. Creating a live 100% digital experience, he has left turntables behind. First tested and honed at Sasha's monthly Fundacion residencies in New York and Los Angeles in 05, the controller allows Sasha to not only exhibit his stellar track selection and mixing skills, but to literally re develop music live. Blake's love for electronic dance music began in New Orleans. At theage of 15, he would sneak into the cities freshest clubs to see suchinfluencing acts as Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, and Sander Kleinenberg.Almost immediately, Blake started making his own contributions to theunderground dance music world, firstly in the form of a floatyprogressive breakbeat single "Apricot" with former production partner,the late Starkid. From here he helped define the atmospheric andprogressive breakbeat movement at the time with singles such as "DestinBeach" and "Okoboji". His production efforts not only got him acclaimin the dance music community, but academically as well, having receiveda full scholarship to Loyola University New Orleans College of MusicBusiness.
Now in 2007 Blake is continuing to prove the prophecies of dancemusic's elite DJ's and producers true. He is flying across the globeand back playing such locations as Manama, Dubai, Marrakech, LosAngeles, Port of Spain, Tel Aviv, as well as an Ibiza residency atAmnesia.
