I'm partial to Digweed's Essential Selection from February.

ive always thought about that.. when people come over to my apartment and im listening to some stuff i think is really good... they dont blink an eye. i think they're crazy, they probably think i am
id probably play a noob the usuals.. northern exposure etc. maybe tranceamerica (dont mind the name, its one of my fave progressive cds ever still) before moving them on to some jay tripwire or something
note: ive also found that selecting stuff like chemical bro's, prodigy, crystal method (stuff theyve probably heard a little of on the radio) is a pretty effective way of getting them to at least listenComment

Deep Dish - Renaissance Ibiza is an old goody, but I don't think it really matters what you put into the CD player, if they don't have an open mind then theres no chance. As long as they don't complain that it's the same beat over and over & don't say that it takes no talent to make music on computers; we'll get along fine.Comment

Great thread.
I vote for Deep Dish - Rennaissance Ibiza and Cass' Spundae Mix.Comment

We need more youth groups like that! The salvation is in music(sepciffically prog). I would be down for going few times a week on daily basis.. if we'd listen to that.FM

I've played Disc 2 of GU Seaman Cape Town to a few non-prog people and they absolutely loved it.That disc is a really accessible piece of prog-trance IMO.
I also got people hooked on Athens CD1,but then again that is a bit of a 'house-party' disc.
I would also add that anything by Deep Dish would be good,as they always play some quality house/prog that is very accessible to the new listenerComment
