pappa was right on top of my list untill now!
hes gettin into the electro game! sick! as in a bad way! he no longer dark nor deep but still remains progressive!
the old sets of papa r the best! id say all his sets before 2005!
the best example is mazzom part 2 and colours midnight mix!
i have all of the sets u posted LoUiS, and have some more!

Just thought I would add my 2 penneth-worth real quickly lol

I have only heard about 3 mixes/sets from this guy. But one of them just happens to be in my all time favourite mixes I have EVER heard in my life. I am talking about his stupendously jaw-droppingly outstanding mix CD that appears on "Renaissance Presents: Anthony Pappa and Rennie Pilgrem Volume 2". I first heard this on a tape my m8 gave me after much begging and months of pestering as he obviously must have got it on CD. It was arguarbly the first time I'd heard a prog house set (next up would be the heavenly Sasha "Global Underground Ibiza Mix"also from 1999).

I would be in an euphoric high from the off on this mix and by the end would feel like life was just that little bit more worthwhile Still blows me away to this day even after x amount of repeated listenings although I do try to limit it now to coupla times a year to keep it a bit more fresh heh heh

So basically, that was it really! Anyone else agree with me on this one?

And yes, I don't mind uploadingit at all if someone is desperately after it! I will never forget the day I picked this up in a secondhand shop not realising what mix this was........just recognising that some guy called Anthony Pappa did it.........

Hey mate totally agree with you on that mix. Criminally underrated and in my top 5 favourite mixes of all time. Just listened to the other day on my ipod for the first time in ages. The only other mix he has done that comes close is his nubreed. Which is admittedly amazing as well.

Tip o' the hat, my friend lol Sorry would have gotten back on this sooner I should have stated that I don't come on here much although I will make a point from now on as it is a brilliant site and have got some great sets off here of late.

I will try and do this today at some point only I am currently uploading/downloading stuff for a fair part of the day plus like last Sunday when I wrote that post, am on the tail end of a fairly brutal hangover so think I'm all used up energy-wise bleughh

But it will be on by tomorrow evening at the latest, I can pretty much assure you of that!

(check later about 5 hours or so from now and I will see what I can do)

I know if someone had typed this and I was readin it I would be hopping about too for wanting a copy heh heh
