2. Medway Remix
3. Tommyboy Remix
4. Glenn Morrison & Human Adams Mix
Release date: 30th of July (beatport excl. pre-release)
Label: Groovecollection Black 004
Release Info:
Derek Howell and Peter Martin have teamed up once again for this beauty of a tune, striking all the right chords. Better known as Pinkbox Special, both men have once again delivered something special. Texan native?s Derek Howell and Peter martin are certainly no strangers to the scene despite their young age. Being good friends it?s only natural that they share ideas and make time to explore different ways besides their own visions as well. ?The Ballz? is in may ways a gorgeous tune. Not only the tight beats and drums stand out, it?s the whole approach towards the layering of sounds all leading up to the massive melody that cleverly finds it?s way in the break, a striking and haunting shade of melancholy that makes this a perfect track for any start or ending of a night.
Medway?s approach is stunning, phat and clever. We all know Jesse Skeens is one hell of a producer with an impeccable sound and a fascination for clever arrangements and tight beats. From start to finish this remix entertains and not for one moment gets boring or loosing momentum. At times it blink?s an eye towards elements of trance but done in a very sophisticated manner. A powerful mix that possible will surprise many people and with strong support already form the likes of Oliver Moldan, Tiesto, Blake Jarrell, Digweed and many others.
Hungarian producer Tommyboy went into the studio with a direction which was to strip down the original and create a raw energy, something he did with great result. Together with Mannel he?s reworked and tweaked it into a big room monster that steps up on many levels. Peaktime stuff that has already gained support from Hernan Cattaneo and Matthew Dekay. This mix is dangerous!
This massive package is completed by a more progressive approach by Glenn Morrison and Human Adams. They?ve worked around a more trancy overall feel that will appeal to many dj?s. Again, it?s all about the melody that finds it?s way in and out the mix. Huge support from the Flash Brothers.
