Re: Frquencies For Satalite Radio Chanels
I don't think you can get Kiss on sat radio, only on regular radio, DAB and webstream. Check http://www.totalkiss.com/
For a list of satellite radio stations, check http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archi...lite-main.html for example.

Re: Frquencies For Satalite Radio Chanels
i was lucky to catch kiss on satellite before i moved. but it requires that your dish points at the right satellite, in this special case that would be eurobird 1 on 28.5? east. that satellite is out of reach for the states, but if you're in europe it would be possible in theory. this satellite is especially interesting for people living in the uk, since you can get it together with astra 2 on 28.2? east (the one with the bbc bouquet on it) on a single dish, since they're so close together.
kiss is on 11623 H
check out this coverage map: http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/eb1_s1.html
full frequency listing: http://www.lyngsat.com/eb1.html
and just in case: that site http://www.lyngsat.com has the most comprehensive listing of satellites, frequencies and whatsoever about satellites. just in case you ever need it
and on a second note: i believe dab is not what's transmitted on satellites. dab refers to digital audio being transfered over fm (or was it am?) frequencies. digital satellite tv is usually referred to as dvb-sComment

Re: Frquencies For Satalite Radio Chanels
unfortunately, yes it does. i didn't know your location, that's why i posted the full coverage map, and looking back at it it would be near impossible to catch a signal in egypt. your satellite dish would have to be at least 2 meters in diameter, or even more, depending on where exactly you live. i guess that's not precisely what you wanted...
also, the map does not show any measurements for most of egypt... i don't know if there's any reception at all...Comment
