Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Flor Martinez aka Flower Power enjoys music since her very first years of life. She grew up listening to jazz and blues music, thanks to her father.
Her first contact with electronic music came when she was 17 and some friends told her: "Hey you should listen to Plastikman!" Then came Aphex Twin, Mouse on Mars and she felt in love inmediately.
She started djing in 2003 and today she is known for a mix of styles everytime she plays. Minimal tech, minimal electro, tech house, electro tech, electro funky, minimal techno & electro techno.
Last year she won th SAMC contest (South American Music Conference).
This year she has a program in KSK Radio (101.9), continue her residence in Jah Bar in Palermo and she is starting producing with her Korg Kaoss Pad and the use of samplers and Fx in real time.
