In Perth over the weekend, travelling on business. If any aussies would like to give some pointers on interesting things to see, it'd be much appreciated.
Any interesting art, historical, or natural things i shouldn't miss while i'm here?

johns is right, the eastern states is where it's at!
But seeing as you're already here:
Check out the beaches, although it's not the best weather for it
Go to Fremantle and have a look around
Go to Kings Park and have a look around
Enjoy fine wine/beer/food in the Swan Valley
The WA Art Gallery in the city has an exhibition of Egyptian artefacts from the Louvre
Go to Subiaco oval on Saturday and watch some Australian Rules Football
Go to the motorcycle show at the Convention Centre
That's all I can really think of at the moment…
If you had more time you could go down south to Bunburry/Busselton/Albany/Esperance, but if you're only here for the weekend that's not an option.

we actually went to a wildlife reserve about half an hour outside of town...it was incredible. got to feed kangaroos, see koala bears up close, along with alot of other amazing animals. very cool...

now that you mention it, they did look stoned off their asses. could be because they eat a poisonous plant and sleep 18 hours a day. such an odd animal...
