Yup, he aired two hours from that set the last two weeks of March on Kiss FM.

Anywhere I can get a copy of that? I was there and it'd be great to hear it again.

On recent and past form, especially with EM's, his live efforts usually comes up trumps IMO

I remember the essential mix he did from the bedrock anniversary, OMG the beginning of that mix has got to be the best fecking 11 minutes of a dj set. Going right from Emerald into the LA remix of DM only when I lose myself. Gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

I was there and amazingly remember exactly where I was standing and that very mix. I had only had my 'progressive awakening' relatively recently back then then and that set totally blew me away. Love listening to both hours of the EM but only on special occasions coz there is no way I can just have it on in the background..! Lol Got both tunes on vinyl as well which are prized posessions..

Seemed like only Digweed and a few others played that track when it came out, I remember being surprised the tune never became as big as I thought it would.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

Because it was only released on a limited shitty press white label.

Yeah I've got them too. But only the DM remix is prized to me. I remember hearing about WMC the year that DM remix came out and was hearing stories that it was getting serious deck time from a lot of the dj's down there. If LA would have been more smart about it. They would have had it put out on vinyl...instead of just whining about it that someone got a digital copy and them printed up a bunch of white labels. That could have been a major hit for those guys.

If they'd done it big time they would've been royally fucked by DM's record label since they had no rights to it.

The mixing transition from Atlas- Compass Error to the LSG track (which was fresh at the time and therefore "unknown I.D.) is peaktime Digweed at his best.

yes, yes. we get it guys, you like old digweed more than new digweed. the same people keep posting that here every so often...and we get it already. some of us actually like his new stuff every bit as his old (myself included). we don't need to hear you belittling it all the damn time. if you don't like it, there is really no need to post it in a thread talking about digweed's new emix.

might i suggest a sticky thread with a "weren't things better in 2001-2004? god i miss dark prog from digweed". then you could all post there whenever you felt like it and none of us would have to read it! thats the definition of win-win right there!
