Hey Hypo - glad you enjoyed Coxy: I've caught him on the Sun Terrace the last 3 years and he is absolutely awesome ... one of the best club experiences you can currently get: inside that discoteque later on is so unique - when Zabiela says its like being in the centre of the earth he's not far off. I actually really enjoyed Behrouz and (shock) Erick Morillo at Pacha ... sometimes house makes a refreshing change.

Thanks, I did enjoy my time in Ibiza. I totally agree with you as far as how much I was surprised by the quality of the house I heard... It was almost elactro free. The little electro (for lack of a better term) that I heard actually went somewhere and didn't sound like mindless whale farts.

and I thought your list was gonna be way more foreign to me...hell, I've seen half those guys and would vouch for em too

but looking at that list, it really makes me miss that robots party a lot (bi-monthly in a clean club in no way compares to a weekly dungy one).

I've had almost all those guys in for the Alphahouse party. Fantastic djs and good luck with the tracklists. Amazing record collections.

Diggin the Baunder, Ewan Pearson, D-Nox and 4 hr Francois K sets even that hour Silicone Soul set was good. Just depends on tastes. Gotta throw in the Hernan Cerballo set as well.

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:

                      1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
                      2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
                      3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
                      4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

                      Am I close here?

Er, Hello everybody, what about the Argentinians? (not just Hernan)

                        Martin Garcia
                        Deep Mariano
                        Kintar and Rex

For me these guys are carrying the prog. torch at the moment and doing a damn fine job. Excellent track selection (still can't find a complete track listing for any recent Martin Garcia sets, anywhere), very smooth mixing, always resisting the urge to play an anthem just for the sake of it and constructing sets that are more than just the sum of their parts.

I agree that I don't really care for what he did in 2005 but that was a difficult year for all DJs who were coping with the transition from prog to tech.

Started off pretty downtempo and minimal but interesting, organic minimal with plenty of old-skool acid effects. Got pretty banging as the set progressed but still not too aggresive. What blew me away most was his mixing...absolutely flawless. Still, suppose he's been doing it longer than most!
