    Lightning hits plane

This shot shows a lightning bolt striking an airplane taking off Osaka's airport, then hitting the ground. Lightning is not dangerous for airliners, as the electricity flows around their aluminum skin.

If the doors of perception were cleansed, every thing would appear to man as it is: infinite. - William Blake

Nope, apart from a noise you don't notice very much of that. Worst case scenario the instruments get fucked up. Electricity seeks the easiest way to the ground (in other words the best conductor) so people inside don't notice anything. Just teached a seminar on electrical safety on construction yards today actually. Funny to see how many myths exist about that shit.

About lightning and airplane, if you get hit at landing, as the plane act as a faraday cage, they drop chains on the wings to drain residual electricity to the ground

Both of my parents are from Tongeren. Made in Belgium, born in Canada. Time for a visit I think. Haven't seen my relatives in about 3 years.
