    Nick Warren Apreciation

I gotta give it to Nick Warren, the man can do no wrong..... I listen to his old mixes alot(as I do with all my favorite djs) and his sound has been VERY consistent over the years.... Some might say that he hasn't changed or progressed, but i think thats BS, he has just been consistent in his champion of the Prog House sound.... as well as his terrific take on downbeat sounds..... Digweed is and always will be my fav., but Nick has always been a very close second. Nick was able to avoid, unlike many of his contemporaries the electro-shite in late 2004-early 2006. I say bring on more GU's by Nick, because at least I know I will be buying a quality and enjoyable cd.

Just a thought I was having, so I decided to post it......

I concur. Really loved his Paris - Global Underground mix. He can really dig up some Jems.

He's the ultimate party DJ among the prog DJs. Always had FUN when he was playing.

Quite simply the man plays great tunes that you can dance to, whatever the genre. He has a cracking ear for a tune, and doesn't play crap music. Absolute legend IMO

Not been a fan of his commercially released compilations. Good track selection but poor technical skills in mixing. However I reckon his Back to Mine effort (which was either the 1st or 2nd of that series) is one of the best.
