With the long weekend ahead of us, there's no better reason to treat yourself to a stellar night on the town! For this, on Saturday, September 1st, 2007, there's a very special gathering of electronic music fans at our local favorite hot spot, Moomia! DJ's Stephane K, Connie, and Eddie Jones will be ripping it at the decks! As always, bring your dancing shoes and carry with you a beautiful vibe.
These DJ's need very little introduction but in case you didn't already know...
Stephane K
The name Stephane K should need no introduction - Stephane K, with his partner John Creamer, has cut a swath of audio mayhem through the house world with some incredible tribal and house works-notably international Hit Remix "Rapture" and Kosheen which propelled the production skills of Stephane into the minds of clubbers around the world; this great release was followed by a string of remix hits on a host of the world tops major and house labels As well as a string of impressive releases his mix CD compliation release for UK's quality Bedrock label with Jon Creamer firmly established him on the map of tribal house and since there has followed constant licensing from the worlds top house labels - UK's Global Underground Label, collaborations with Jon Creamer, solo work with one of the masters of house, Satoshii Tomie, which have all cemented his reputation as one of the top producers in the house circuit. There was little surprise then, that when last year Stephane stepped out of the studio and onto the turntables to reveal himself as with a technically sophisticated, and sonically brillant DJ act, that the some of the worlds best clubs wanted a pieice of the action.

Connie has spun her eclectic mix of funky house, tech house, electro, acid, minimal and techno all over the world and alongside the most talented DJs/producers, like Vincenzo, Jeff Bennett, Konrad Black, Terry Mullan, Jesse Rose, Adultnapper, Nick Warren, Misstress Barbara, Patrick Chardronnet, Martinez, Jay Tripwire, Jason Jinx, Chris Duckenfield (SWAG), Ladytron, Jimmy van M, Collette, DJ Ali, Sean Dimitrie, Nigel Richards, Mazi, and the Hacker. Currently, she spins regularly at NYC's top venues like Crobar, Pacha, and Sullivan Room, Love to name a few. Connie has also spun outside of NYC, in San Francisco, Miami, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Vancouver, Ibiza, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Prague, Mexico, and most recently, BRAZIL!!! In March 2006, Connie won the Village Voice DJ Spinoff Contest and spun at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. In March 2007, Connie spun at the infamous Sunday School for Degenerates party at the Pawnshop in Miami, opening the terrace for an all-star line-up!
