How could you forget a classic such as:
Chris Micali - Secret Weapon 4
That's actually getting a release on Vapour under a different name
I think it's been reworked too
He has three 12"s coming out on Vapour, one is out already, one is about to be promo'd and there's another one early next year I think

I know VR12036 was 'So Easy/Your Life Better' and VR12041 will be 'Headspace/God Gave Us'. Any clue what the other will be?

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Chris produtions and mixes have some of the best base lines. Just really pounding stuff...great for the dance floor. He is one of my favs at the moment.

Well whoever spun Resentment. It's sounds like all the tracks are Micali tracks. Anyway, sounds damn good to here all of his tracks mixed that's for sure.

Who would you give the nod to?

Micali and Kosmas Epsilon have been the two people whose work (production, remixes, sets) has consistently grabbed me. While there have been many noteworthy people in the past year, they haven't appealed as consistently.

Well, it's posted in the appropriate thread...but Derek Howell hands down. As I mentioned before some of the others that would round out my list would include: Smight, Peter Martin, Muzo B, Habersham etc etc etc

I've got a discussion going on the GU board about Micali's DITF track. I've seen it several times (in the past few months) listed as Chris Scott - Down Inside the Fun (Chris Micali Mix) and I also know that it IS a remix of the Chris Scott tune. There is a guy on the GU board though who insists that Micali "cheated" on the remix of this track and that is the reason it is named DITF. Anyone know anything about this? I admit I'm clueless about how to "cheat" when remixing a tune.
