David Alvarado presents his highly acclaimed 'Transfiguration' project as a full length album, complete with new tracks.
The LA based DJ and producer has specialised in hypnotic, minimal and dubby grooves, and as a result, ?Transfiguration? is very much a blissful listening experience.
Originally released as a five track vinyl double pack EP, ?Transfiguration? sold out within weeks. Now presented on CD as a full length album, complete with five extra tracks, Alvarado breaks down the boundaries of 4/4 house music and strips the genre right down to its bones.
Tracks like ?Aire? and ?Luna? have an almost soundtrack quality, taking a cue from the Basic Channel school of minimalism. These tracks are designed for a certain space and time. The production envelopes you as the ethereal, dubwise sounds and hypnotic drum patterns weave their way through each track.
New tracks such as ?But Why?, ?Raindance? and ?The Day? continue the trippy and cinematic feel, adding shifting electro beats to the proceedings, and fans of electronic exponents such as Carl Craig will love the feel of these tracks.

Now i know this is old but i just pulled out my vinyl copies and i must he and the plastic city boys have a perfect sound. Any thoughts
