Hey kinkster.

i may have the possiblity of moving and working in Belgicum.

Just wanted some info on the culture, nightlife, lifestyle, etc.
I'd be based in Boren about 60km from antwerp.

This obviously goes out to anyone else who is well informed.

Boren? Are you sure it's called like that? Can't find a town or city called Boren in Belgium, only in the North of Germany...

Anyhooters, as for nightlife the best places to go are La Rocca (www.larocca.be), Fuse (www.fuse.be), Versuz (www.versuz.be) and Caf? d'Anvers (www.cafedanvers.com). I took Res0nator to La Rocca when he was in Europe and the poor guy's life was never the same again

Antwerp is by far the trendiest city in the country. Lotsa great cocktail bars, lounges, restaurants (Lux, Citadel Zuid, Wok&Tandoor, La Riva, Velvet lounge & Stereo Sushi, ...). Great fashion scene too (The Antwerp Six) as well as architecture & design.

Brussels and Ghent are pretty cool too.

As for the culture, I guess we're more relaxed and open minded than the Italians. Most of us speak two or three languages, so that will help you as well. And if I'm not mistaken, life here is cheaper too than in Italy. What else? Erm... Belgium is the country with the densest coax cable network in the world, exteremely dense highway network and public transport is very organized.

Oh yeah, our pubs & beers are pretty legendary of course

Aaaah Bornem. Good location: right in the middle of the Brussels-Antwerp axis (A12 motorway).

So when are you leaving those Italohomos?

well, if going to see sasha on a sunday and being able to drink your ass of until 10am the next morning in the club is your idea of a good time, i'd say you'd like it. i did and want to leave the boring midwest again...got any compunerd jobs over there for me?

That sounds interesting! What's involved in the designing process? Don't they have pretty standard lines, how often will you be coming up with new designs?
