Moving to UK soon

Well i'll be movin' to london in a couple of days and first thing i wanna do is get me a cell phone .. but i have no clue which provider to go with . o2 , vodafone , t mobile .. and i dunno on average how much would it cost .. any help would be really appreciated guys

i,m with orange, they just upped the rate on my pay as u go so i,m moving to t-mobile pay as u go as there rate to any network is better by 20p per minute

Well if i am going to buy a mobile as well along with the sim ..and i would aim for better international rates ..lets say international sms rates outside the EU ..which would be best ?

I would like to know also what are the schemes that those diverse providers give ... like i know about pre-paid cards where u recharge ..and the monthly bill depending on how much calls .. whats the pay as u go ?
