Re: where were you 6 years ago 9-11-01
I was on a day out with my colleagues in the red light district in Amsterdam, which was strange enough in itself. We got word about what happened and we got word about it when sitting down in a bar. Thought it was an accident until we heard about the second one later, that's when it struck everyone something happened we had never seen before...the weirdest thing was seeing all the grounded planes' tails in a row when passing Schiphol airport on the way home.Blowkick visual & graphic design - No Civilization. I was in Boston at my friend's place, packing for a flight home to Buffalo, and then driving across the border into Canada, after a last minute weekend deal. My flight was supposed to be at noon, so I was packing up and watching Good Morning America, and basically saw everything on tv from the beginning. I didn't get home until Friday.PhilipComment

I was working at a paint shop at the moment. It was a really slow day (it usually was during the autumn) and i first heard about it on the radio and then tried to read about it on both swedish and american newspapers but i remember many of them not beeing able to handle the massive load of users.
Spent the rest of the day after work watching the news and reading up on it, watching thoose planes hit the WTC. Still to this day it sends shivers down my spine.- webbieComment
