if your not rich than just don't get the crappiest out there and you should be okay. your getting enough that when it actually starts to slow down the upgrade will be real cheap.

Just remember... you get what you pay for. Don't be a cheap ass.

I know we got side-tracked earlier but I saw the AM2 X2 6400+ Black Edition on sale with a motherboard for $228 this weekend. Freakin' sick.

So I got some http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146677 sweet ass new memory and World in Conflict loads twice as fast. It is oober cool, but does anyone know how I check the speeds and clocking so I can pretend like I know what is going on?

Go into the BIOS and look for something like "SDRAM configuration". It differs greatly from BIOS to BIOS, but should be something close to that.

Yeah, depending on the BIOS setup you'll be able to look at and be able to tweak a massive amount of stuff. My BIOS has pages and pages upon pages of tweaks. Was insane for it's time.
