New scanner.

My boss bought me a new printer/scanner and a bookshelf for my home the other day. I went to visit my mom this past week and took a box of pictures of me as I was growing up so I can use them with my scanner. I hate to see them sit in boxes all day where none of my family can see them. I've been sitting here scanning in pictures and making them digital... I don't think I've ever seen these and it's definitely a blast back a few years. I recommend you guys should do it if you have the chance.

I have been wanting to do this as well, but all my childhood pics are out at my parents house and I never think to grab them when I am there

I should do that too, but since the majority of my childhood is recorded with dia film (hope it means the same in english) I'll have to find a good photo studio to do it for me...

got my scanner recently...

well an all-in-one HP psc 2210 to be precise (needed the fax machine too). College kids were getting rid of it so snagged it for $20...soon I'll be scanning pictures, flyers, etc. just to get them into the system.
