Don't laugh ! But I caught Oakey last Monday on the Liverpool leg of his Perfecto 15th B/day Tour - I didn't expect too much, but it ended up being one of the best sets I've heard in ages. He just played all the tracks from his Cream 97-99 residency and EM World Tour, so it was back to the days of the Annexe and the Courtyard - amazing. It makes me realise how short changed we are some some of the drab music these days (i.e. electo-tinged minimal with clicky drum tracks).

glad you had a good time, fuck what the little pricks say about Oakie. He was up there with the best of them. Half the people who bash him are about 18 anyway so what do they know!

        I would have gone

this is the "we're getting old thread "
But it would be great if oakenfold went back on the form he used to be on in the old perfecto party days. Pure classic.
