No POP-UP Windows

Hi all,

maybe someone can help me. I currently installed a new XP-Version on my computer incl. Norton Internet Securites. Since I done that, i am no longer able to download any files here bc i get no pop-up window where to download the file...

Does anybody have some advices?

imho, uninstall norton internet security (sorry if you paid for it), use zone alarm, download firefox, and enjoy getting your life back :wink:

Do you believe it's norton which causes the problems?

well, i think norton is blocking your popups

unless you've installed SP2... that could be messing up too

Sounds like you have XP Ser Pack 2.
If so, you need to go Tools>Internet Options>Pop up blocker and allow pop ups from this site.

If not i would guess your firewall is blocking the pop ups. BTW Norton sucks ass, dump it and go for another FW.

just deleted norton internet securities and installed zonealarm = everything works fine...

firefox is pretty badass.
just got it yesterday, much better than the regular mozilla thing i was using

With firefox, i also get no pop-up window, only with the micrxxxx explorer. Quite wired....
