Radiohead Announce New Album – 'In Rainbows'
by Daniel Zugna - October 1 2007
Radiohead's seventh album will be called 'In Rainbows', and will be available for download on the band's official website from October 10.
Not long after an unofficial new album website was revealed as a hoax, the band's radiohead.com space was updated with release information about the new album.
The band are asking fans how much they'd like to pay for the file download, with the price field left blank alongside a disclaimer "it's up to you".
The album can also be purchased as a ?40 made-to order discbox, which according to the site "consists of the new album, in rainbows, on CD and on 2 x 12 inch heavyweight vinyl records. A second, enhanced CD contains more new songs, along with digital photographs and artwork. The discbox also includes artwork and lyric booklets. All are encased in a hardback book and slipcase."
The tracklisting for 'In Rainbows' is as follows:
15 Step
Bodysnatchers
Nude
Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
All I Need
Faust Arp
Reckoner
House Of Cards
Jigsaw Falling Into Place

This has got to be one of the craziest things i've ever heard. announcing an album release 10 days before its out, and then letting people decide what they want to pay for it!? fuck i love this band...
