sendspace.com is my site of choice. You can do multiple downloads, but you can only download so much a day. I think it's a GB off the top of my head.

And the 300mb upload limit for free use is nice unlike other sites where it's only 100mb.

sets don't last on sendspace i would have to upload every month.

I don't mind throwing some money to a site for downloads, but my question is. What is the most popular site you folks use for uploading? I would just be annoyed to buy into megauploads site just to find everyone using rapidshare. Is there a preferred site to use?

If you like the [ms] type of music meaning Kiss 100, Hernan Cattaneo, Martin garcia
and all the other type of music that i upload then all you really need is megaupload
all of those sets are upload to megaupload and i still maintain them.

If i use mercuryupload it's not a problem until we run out of bandwith 1 terabyte/month
So there you have it, i would say you can get over 200 gigs of music and maybe alot more on [ms] if you use megaupload and i will continue with those 2 - megaupload and mercuryupload.

Now if someone else wished to upload to mirrors i have no problem with that
but you can't expect me to upload to every service there is - it's not possible

p.s 5 years ago it wasn't that easy to get all these free sets
maybe you should just be satisfied and appreciate what you get
then again if your not you can always go somewhere else to get them.

man, isn't that the truth. when you think about it, it's so freaking easy to share huge files these days. bandwidth increasing and costs or it decreasing, and storage increasing and costs for it decreasing...all at an amazing rate.

so yeah, stfu with "these free sites suck."

turn off your modem for 10-15 minutes and see if it resets your IP address...you might be able to get around that.

you do realize you're complaining about free sites and people who upload free music for you?

10-15 minutes??? Hell I turn my DSL off and turn it right back on and it resets the ip addy so I can continue to be my pirate self.

Yeah and stop complaining about free music.

Most sites (besides the fast and pop up free Mercuryupload of course ) annoy me as well but the essence is that you have to use them if you want to get new mixes frequently. The variety of mixes we can get ahold of today was 5-6 years ago only possible in private ftp communities where you were either lucky to be a member of or at least knew somebody who is. If you are facing broken downloads, try a download manager, if your problem is the waiting time after a download to start the next one reset the IP or just disconnect and reconnect if you are on DSL without a router. Also there is always the option to use a free proxy service to surf anonymously which helps with some limit problems as well. If you want to hear free music you better get used to how to get it because at the moment and for the near future this is the way people will go.
