Can't believe I just watched the whole first lecture of biology...

Crazy how much of a difference there is between Community College teachers and University Teachers.

My mind starts wondering after about 15 minutes with my previous teachers... I actually listened to this whole lecture... over the internet too!?!?

MIT and Stanford, plus other universities, also offer talks though itunes. Some are courses, some are visiting talks, some are just promotional blather. Click on itunes U in the podcast section of the itunes program.

Hopefully this trend will continue. This gives me great hope for the quantity and quality of info that will some day be available online. I can think of nothing better than lectures from some of the world's best professors being available to anyone with internet access and a desire to learn.

                Go go internet!

Community college teachers speak English. University profs don't...At least in my experience..At USF, I pretty much had to figure out what the hell they were saying most of the time..They were either African or Indian and the whole class would just look around confused..This happened at least twice a year for the four years I was there.

Cool that these are on youtoob though. Thanks.

Did you complain? Paying what you do in tuition, you have a right to be able to understand what your professors are saying. Most people don't bother to fill out the end of the course survey's, but thats one place you can note the difficulty. May not benefit you, but might help others.

Yeah, I always said what I felt in those surveys...I described one teacher as a lazy piece of shit. lols
