David Costa, aka 'Cytric', was born in Lisbon. From a very early age he began to demonstrate an interest in electronic music as well as the art of disc jockeying.
At the age of 13, he embarked on the journey of musical production and soon he found himself creating his own tracks. In 2002, at the age of 19, Cytric took his production talent to a professional level, making original tracks as well as remixes for some of today's biggest djs and producers.
This trail-blazing dj/producer currently has the support of some of the world best known artists such as: Dj Vibe, Chus & Ceballos, Victor Calderone, Superchumbo, Eric Entrena, Richie Santana, DaGroovemakers, That Kid Chris, Midnight Society, Muzzaik, Kult of Krameria, Cevin Fisher, Kelee, Frank Maurel, Carlos Fauvrelle, Rob Mirage, Javith & Salazar, Palash, London909, Luca Ricci amongst others.
His unique hits are played on dance floors all over the world by international elite djs and producers. His tracks take you on exotic journeys through the world of dark/progressive/tribal house music.
Cytric has perfected his technical production skills, but remains inspired to continue producing on a daily basis.
Cytric's music is recognized for its distinctive style and catchy tracks. You can find his tunes released under top labels, including, Iberican Recordings, Magna Recordings, Afroboogie, Soundgroove, Ggressive, Ready Mix and more.
Cytric is currently working with labels that have brought some great hits to the speakers in past years, and is excited to add his flavor to the mix...
His journey as a producer took him to play all over the country, in clubs like: Coconuts, Repvblica, English Club, Imperio Romano, Kais Club, Danubio, Mau Mau, Look Club, Fenix Club, ArmazemGLS, &Companhia, just to name a few.
In 2007 Cytric went for the first time in USA and Spain, he played at Social Club in Philadelphia, Satellite Records in New York, Alibi in New York, Taste Lounge in New Jersey, Rise in Boston and in Spain at TerrazaNao in Toledo.
