    DJing Vci 100?

Has anyone tried this midi controler and if so what are your oppinions...

I am in the process of buying my first set of decks...cdj's 200 and a djm 400 mixer and I'm finding it difficult to compleatly bail on tractor so I was contemplaiting on buying a controler?!
My main problem with tractor is that it doesn't hav a crisp and clear enough sound (that a proper mixer has)...although thinkingabout it this maybe has something to do with my soundcard???
Anyway has anyone tried or heard anything about this particular piece of equipment?
    Thank you.

Nearly 2 years running with Traktor, and I can definitely say it's your soundcard if you're not getting clear sound. Try updating to 3.3 which was released just this week and if it's still giving you crap, might be time to swap it out. I use an M-Audio FastTrack USB with some pretty nice results.

yeah...I am looking for a good soundcard now...I have been with tractor almost 2 years now as well but on the same computer, so couldn't really tell if its the soundcard or not...

I have Got the VCI-100 last months and its working pretty good with Traktor 3, it gives you the same feeling like a full DJ set of 2 players and mixer and effect unit. also the scratching pad is amazing and if u don't scratch in your DJ sets u can remove the metal part on the jog wheels and use it just for pitch bend and the great thing also that u can re-assign every button and knob with any option u want.
