We are currently accepting submissions from producers & remixers for our upcoming label releases on Nightshade Music.
Our previous label, Greylabel Recordings launched our group Grayarea. We had some success with our first self-released single "One for the Road", with Essential Mix support from Sasha and several compilation appearances. Grayarea later went on to remix Hybrid, Steve Porter, Thrill Kill Kult, Bedrock and many more.
We have had support from our first releases on Nightshade Music from Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo, Flash Brothers & more, 8/8 from M8 magazine, and top 10 chart spots on Balance & Release. We have regular shows on Protonradio & XM, regular guest spots on Frisky & DI.fm, and feature our labels tracks and artists on our shows. We have plans to work with remixers such as Blake Jarrell, 16 Bit Lolitas and Spiritcatcher in 2008, and we are currently negotiating major distribution.

We are accepting demos from unsigned producers, however we have a few guidelines/suggestions:
- Only finished tracks will be considered.
- Professionalism; we would prefer to hear from producers that have been at it for a while, preferably with several finished productions. We also realize some people just have talent, so if you feel confident your first track is a bomb, send it over.
- Sound quality. We prefer to hear music that has come out of a decent quality studio set-up. Studio monitors, vst plug ins, a pro sequencing program such as Ableton, Cubase or Logic, and some knowledge of mixdown and mastering. Compare your track with a current release you think sounds good. If your db level, bass, separation and overall sonic clarity are consistent with what is currently coming out, it's a good indication your tune is ready to be heard.
Before you submit materials for remix consideration, we ask that you meet the following guidelines:
- At least one release or remix on a label other than your own
- Artist biography, discography & weblinks.
- List of radio & DJ chart support, and compilation appearances of your tracks.
How to send us your music:
Genres: We are focusing on tech house, the techy end of progressive and the melodic side of techno and house for our originals, though all styles of house, progressive and techno will be considered, particularly for remixers.
