    NBA FINALS ...

Can this be the last day?

I sure hope so. D-town has been the winner so far hence the 3-1 lead. So, today, perhaps, maybe, they will be crowned champs in their hometown. I sure hope so golly gosh.

Of course my home boy Sheed Wallace has been doing his part. Love to watch that guy play.

    Kill'em today D. Kill'em today.

Go Pistons. They're just unstoppable and they work better together as a team.

Damn, I wish we still had this old thread. Those Laker fans calling the shots before the 1st game even started.

no shit. i was so stoked on Sunday to rip some ass on that thread. and kept getting time out errors. So I looked up people in the LA area and started calling them. "Hello! You like that?" I said. I got a lot of old people. People who could not hear me. I just started to laugh.

I sure hope tonight is the last one. So I can laugh at all my buddies who are laker fans and said it was all the way after winning the Spurs. Go Pistons!

                            Yeah nice avatar Algy.

I think the Pistons deserve to win because they play as a team. It's like the Patriots just being introduced as the New England Patriots back during Super Bowl XXXVI and look who won that.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."
