November 16th - Majestic & Vision Present: Friday Detention with Pascal FEOS

Pascal has devoted more than seventeen years of his life to electronic music and during that time, he has always stayed true to his roots. From the first sporadic DJ assignments (in a time when DJing only meant to fill the space with people and to get them to order drinks at the bar), on to his recent solo album, one can find a style-defying continuity, the essence of a certain minimalism, which links all of his works together. His path has led him through many phases: the first contact with club music already happened in the early Eighties through house and disco, soon to be followed by the omnipresent sound of EB Mand finally the very successful and genre-defying years with his trance projects Resistance D. (Harthouse) and Sonic Infusion (Eye Q). Shortlyafter this, he moved his sound as a DJ and as producer more and more towards the many styles of club-orientated techno.

It is only right that this attitude gets him a lot of respect and success. In his discography one is able to find a range of popular names embracing the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth or Anne Clark. As DJ, producer and remixer he counts to the most sought after artist in the field of electronic music and his work has already led him to all continents of the world. The future will show which heights Pascal will reach with his firm belief in substance, quality and consistency. One thing is sure: this man knows that he has yet a way to go.

November 17th - Vision Presents: Yousef

Reputation is a wonderful thing. Liverpool DJ/Producer Yousef is renowned for his love of travelling. Given the chance he is happy to combine two of his greatest loves: beats and beaches. "Yeah, I love to travel", he nods. "I get a real kick out of going to places abroad, I love going to Montreal, it's multicultural and multi-sexual and musically, you can go in any direction you want to go. I've also been playing at Avalon in LA, I've been playing there every 9 months for 4 or 5 years, I have a good following over there. I love South America and Brazil, it's so good down there - Rio, Sao Polo, Porto Alegre, amazing, high energy parties. In Argentina - I played at The Mau Club and it was so underground and so intense. I did Manumission out of the blue last month too. I played in the music box after Afrika Bambaata, playing anything from Daft Punk and Lauryn Hill to the Justice Mix of Franz Ferdinand and the room was rocking." Relentlessly playing worldwide has given Yousef a more mature and broad musical taste.

It's a rare occasion when Yousef makes an appearance in Chicago, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to catch one of the hottest names in house music as we bring you Yousef! This is gonna be HOT!

November 24th - Vision Presents: Perfecto Featuring Paul Oakenfold, Sandra Collins, Kenneth Thomas

Paul Oakenfold has long been one of the most important--if not the most important--name in modern club culture. People who don't know that much about DJ culture or the music itself are familiar with Oakenfold's name and what he represents. Of course, many people who think they're unfamiliar with Oakenfolds music actually may have heard it often, thanks to appearances globally on the radio and TV featured in commercials supports mega brands such as Coca-Cola, Toyota, Motorola and Saab all which ran through out 2005, not to mention his contributions to hit films such as Swordfish (which Oakenfold scored), The Matrix Reloaded and Michael Manns Collateral. In fact, when the superstar DJ sold out the Hollywood Bowl a couple of years ago, many pundits viewed the events as definitive proof that dance culture hadfinally arrived in America--a force as powerful as any other in modern pop music.

Sandra was named “DJ of the Year” in 2003 by Dancestar, and has received tireless praise from such publications as URB and the Los Angeles Times. A tireless experimenter who is always in search of new sounds and platforms for her music, Collins is truly in a class of her own, whether she’s performing to a 5-10,000 person club, a festival or an intimate gallery space. “I knew from the start of my career as a DJ that it’s easy to be become pigeon holed when you regularly perform live and so I’ve always experimented with different styles of music in my shows,” she says. Imagine the experience of such forces combined. Or, rather than simply imagining it, check out the spectacular results at the INTERFERENCE performance nearest you.

Along with Kenneth Thomas, Paul and Sandra return to Vision for what is set to be another amazing show as always. This is going to be HUGE!
