unique visitors will be closest to people visiting, but its probably overstated by quite a bit, since the same person can log in from multiple IPs, which is how that stat is measured (i think).
Here are our official stats from one month and from one day to give you an idea...
That's eight and a half million hits per month.
That's a shit load of hits...and it shows that once people are on they tend to stay on. I work on a label site with loads more unique visitors but far fewer hits. [ms[ is obviously the place to be!
