FAO: Baseball fans

I was thinking of getting this book.."Ballet in the Dirt: The Golden Age of Baseball"; but saw the price and thought.. hmmm, is it worth it? Most likely Im going to purchase it.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on it.

Well $400.00 is a little steep for just a slipcased book. I don't see anywhere on there where it mentions that it's signed. Unless I missed it? From the preview though it looks interesting.

yeah, its on there somewhere about the signing... It is steep but a cool "collectible" for any baseball enthusiast.
