It was late nineties when the progressive wave came in, the time of Digweed and Bedrock, who doesn’t remember that era? Randall Jones was one of those out there under his moniker “Tigerhook” and releases tracks on many labels, marking his unique sound that caused stirs on dance floors all around the world.
Over the years a slew of productions and countless gigs have followed, keeping true to the underground feel of club life. For this amazing release randall teams up with Apolesse, a gifted singer/songwriter with an unique voice. “Lost Love” was originally intended as a b-side for Randall Jones own “Mynth” label but label boss Peter van Hal from Deep records decided differently as he was charmed instantly by “Lost Love”. It’s housy vibe combined with Aplossse’s great voice and Randall’s warm production skills had all the ingredients for more so a deal was made for this great song.
Bart van Wissen kicks it off his own spice, warm and funky. This great producer takes a different road then the original. His jazzy and funky flavor is Bart’s own recepy and with great result as his remix is a fresh take on today’s music! Greek native Steve Mill adds his warm blend of electronica and house. His dubby approach is probably please many out there who love a good house record that pushes all the right buttons. Dutch outfit Perplex and Rosso surprised us with a cool mix that show some musical trickery. Pumping and with surpsrising moodswing these are one too watch! Randall’s buddy Davey Diamond is finally our last remixer, his laidback breakbeat approach is warm and clean, leaving us with a smile!
