help....I am flying into MIAMI on friday for a gig in Pompano Beach at Club Cinema but the club only has turntables ! I need two CDJs for the night and don't want to go through the hasle/danger of bringing my Pioneer cdjs. Any djs near Pompano Beach that would let me use their cdjs for the night. I know this is reaching, but it never hurts to ask !!!!!

uhh try renting a pair? its like $40 for a night for two mk3's here...can't be much different in miami. -

If you got screwed over last-minute through the club and/or promoter (they said there were some and now you suddenly find out there aren't any) then that's one thing. Been there with some friends asking me for my CDJ's 11th hour...which I also hate with a passion when that happens. Piss-poor planning on that IMO. In that case, I feel for you a bit. Good luck.
If you're just asking now based on this post, piss poor planning on your part...you may just have to suck it up and bring your own if you want the gig that much.FM

dude if you can't spin on what they have available....then you shouldn't be dj'ing. I've played on all kinds of cd players and record players, and can usually make them all work the same.Comment
