An ENORMOUS KUDOS to Tom to pulling this project off single-handedly. It is always said that the mark of a champion isn't the one who has the most well laid plans but the one who can execute all of them all the way. Tom has and he is entirely responsible for single-handedly coordinating everything that MCast Sessions stands to represent today. I owe you a crate of beer for this one mate.

Of course here's sending out a thanks to Dom boy for that fantasticular banner as well as Aaron, Andy, Caley, CJ, Topo, Krelm, Geoff, Hafid, Michael, Phil, Steve, Jib and John for creating "TEAM MCAST"and being the engine behind making this a success.

    thank you all

      BIO:
orn in northern Germany in 1983, Michael McLean's passion for music, like most, began at an early age. His love for electronic dance music, however, was set in motion in '97 while spending endless hours at clubs such as E-Werk, Casino, WaterGate and Tresor. That same year, Michael traveled to Ibiza for the first time, kicking off what would be an annual pilgrimage to the universal mecca for dance music aficionados.

Having fallen in love with EDM, Michael started collecting records in '99, quickly carving his own personal style, shaped by artists such as Rabbit in the Moon, Boards of Canada, Abakus and early Paul van Dyk. While his taste encompasses many genres, from down-tempo and ambient to house and techno, his style behind the decks is a unique fusion of progressive, deep house and electro. Always avant-garde, he continually strives to hone and innovate his programming and technique both at home and in the clubs.

Still in his early 20s, his growing DJ repertoire discreetly spans the globe, including Mexico, Panama, Denmark, Sweden, England, Japan and, of course, Germany. He currently holds two residencies, one in Tokyo and the other in Copenhagen. Stepping into the production arena in 2002, his special edits, remixes and productions pound dance floors worldwide yet remain as exclusive and underground as where his next gig will be.

Teaming up with longtime friend Dennis Feldmann, Michael's first official release was the mix compilation Progressive Interpretation 2. Released in October 2006 on Supra Recordings DE, the CD follows up the first critically acclaimed release in this series and carries the title with a blend of smooth prog with a touch of melodic trance.

En route to solidifying his career, Michael aspires to produce more original tracks and remixes as well as keep on traveling to man the decks in clubs around the world. He currently resides in Berlin, where he studies architecture at the city's prestigious Technical University.
