well produced movie, great acting, and such a subtle message that leaves you thinking that you're tied to the hips to everybody else.

this won two golden globes last night, including best supporting actor for javier bardem.

i normally don't give a crap who wins at the oscars, but i'm really pulling for this one...

brilliant film, though being distracted (doing 5 different things while watching this movie including packing away some brews, I totally didn't get the ending). was mr. baddy supposed to have gotten away after the wreck?

the way the flick built up, I nearly expected him to "get what's coming to him".

but the way the movie's been put together and such an incredible acting by everyone involved, this sucker nabs an 8.5/10 in my books. Definitely worth the watch (maybe even 2)

thought the end was a little weak, but the acting and storyline for the rest of the film were spot on. Javier Bardem was a badass in this movie. looking on imdb i see why i don't recognize him, because 95% of everything he's done is spanish movies or tv. really liked his character in this.

                  8/10 IMO

just got back from seeing this and was totally amazed one of the best films i've seen. the reaction of the audience afterwards was great, something i've never seen in an english cinema. my favourite comment off someone was, ''i can't wait to buy the soundtrack when it comes out'' ha ha classic

yeah i heard they stayed very true to the book, so dont hate the Cohen bros for that.

read the book in about 10 hours. so fucking good i couldn't put it down except when i pee'd
i'm not a speed reader so 10 hours is a personal record for a 300+ page book.
absolutely enthralling and the movie does indeed recreate the book with a few minor exceptions.
very glad i bought it because this is one of the few books i will definitely read again.

just went to the library today and picked up The Road.
only 40 pages in but already hooked on the story.

the ending is saying that life goes on...DUH.

I don't know how many of you saw the humorous parts in the film but there were plenty of them...and there would have to be from the directors.

watched it twice this weekend and really dug it. Javier was amazing in it, his voice is so deep and hollow that it's freaky. It was wild to see Stephen Root and Woody Harrellson in it too.
