More people have been killed in the name of religions than crack whores in Newark, NJ can spat out in a nine month period and have the state foot the bill...
The sailors of the United States Navy are among the most disciplined, devoted, and well-trained fighting men the world has ever known. They drink gasoline and piss fire, The spit bullets and shit bombs, and will swim across the ocean with a knife in their teeth just for the chance to carve up those that threaten their homeland.
And I can keep going with other shit that the Malaysian religious police over there are doing; it's not hard to find from various sources. Am I the only one concerned over a religion that requires its own police force that threatens people to enforce its beliefs???
nice try, though.
Miroslav my friend, have you ever been to Malaysia ?? ever worked there ??? ever saw documentaries about it ??? please do and then answer me.
ok, I guess if I go and work there then I will see that the events in this article did not actually happen, right? Thanks for avoiding the issue at hand as usual.
I give up, I'm done...there's just no getting through to some of you guys...you could actually be watching religious police actually beat a woman right in front of you in some Islamic state and you'd be all like "there's nothing to see here...it's PERFECT HARMONY..."
I just don't see why we have to believe in a "God"....I don't consider myself an Atheist, but what is it all worth?? Why can't we just be good people because that's what we want to be?? What is wrong with that??....
The founders of our country did not base this nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all because they thought it had a nice ring to it.
Malaysia i'm sure is a great country. Compared to the rest of the Muslim counties i'm sure it is great, but have you ever tried to convert religions in Malaysia. Have a try and let me know how you get on.
^^^ OK guys so let me get this straight. Follow me closely here:
1. Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Quatar, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Iraq, and Iran (basically the whole Middle East) are all countries that are heavily dominated by Islam all the way through to their governments.
2. All of these nations have been documented from various sources as systematically restricting the rights of women, minorities, dissidents.
2. The oppression is generally done by socially established forces (i.e., government) that hold to a religious doctrine as a basis for their actions (i.e., Islam).
So now you're telling me that all of these similar trends of these Islamic-based governments are, in fact, not a true representation of mainstream Islam?
i am afghan, and in afghanistan back before all these stupid wars happened women had a lot of rights. then the taliban came and need to remind those they are not afghan, and really ruined the country besides that and the war with russia.
yes alot of those countries are dominated by islam, but again it is their government & culture not the religion.

I'm just saying, what is it all worth?? Seems to me like it's a matter of control.
I think the problem with thouse countries is that religion (in this case islam) has gotten mixed up with politics, hell we had the same things happenig in our countrys not so long ago and I don´t think Chirstianity is evil.
Like I said before State and Religion should be separated.

You must be mister predicition, next time before I have to react to an event i'll come and ask you.
don't just read the news paper or watch TV and judge by them Miroslav, the Muslim countries aren't as evil as you see them, if you have some money I encourage you to come visit one of these countries and see by yourself how people live, you then would change your black or white vision of the muslim world.
^^ How about this: I'll admit that Malaysia is a great place if you admit that the concept of state-sponsored "religious police" bullying people around is disturbing and wrong
Seriously...I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. For the record, I really don't think that all Muslim people are evil or that they deserve be persecuted in any way. I think everyone should be free to believe and live as they wish so long as it doesn't actively do harm to others.

1000% with you on this, every individual is free to think or belive in what he/she wants to belive in, as long as it doesn't harm or disturb others.

but police and politics will always bring harm to others, its just to what party they belong...I personally know an islamic country where certain cops are hand picked and 1st rule is that they should not have mercy on others and not fear God,,,,this is 100% not islamic...so theres is no relation between all the crazy crimes from goverments and true muslims, or the teachings of the religion...you'll know a true Muslim when you meet one, and then you'll see the differrence..
I just don't see why we have to believe in a "God"....I don't consider myself an Atheist, but what is it all worth?? Why can't we just be good people because that's what we want to be?? What is wrong with that??....
because there is neither money nor power in believing that way
Lilsensa, we should believe in God because there is a God, its beautiful to acknowledge his power, I came to earth and found it ready for life with all the suitable ingredients such as H2O, oxygen...etc so you think all this happenned by chance...I think it was measured and put available for FREE...imagine air you breath was for money...wouldnt that suck if you didnt have change for some air to breath...think about it..
OK. This is going to sound harsh, but i don't care.
We should believe in God because there is a God?!?! What the fuck kind of circular logic is that? Thats like saying "you should believe in this magic celery stick. Its magic because I say so".
And how do you know there is a God, have you been chatting with him? Has he bestowed some divine insight to you that cofirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that he exists? If you answered yes to any of these questions, seek mental help.
The argument that air is free = there must be a God is about the stupidest thing I've heard in quite awhile. And I was just listening to Bill O'Riley on satellite radio the other day, so thats saying something...
Did they not educate you in your eutopic muslim country?
and to Bululululululu....you must have the best pair of rose-coloured glasses ever made.
