i know it's a little premature but i have to say one of the most moving club experiences i had was when sasha opened his july 24 2004 @ fabric set with blueroomproject - pure.

i play back the video, i play the clip on jeff belfi's site. everytime that arrangement of music enters my brain all the hairs on the back of my neck stand upright, i feel a shiver down my spine and i'm there.

i also have to say the opening to NE1 is fantastic. ambient bliss.

anyone for the offspring - smash lp? what a way to kick that CD off.

Ah, it's time to relax, and you know what that means, a glass of wine,
your favourite easy chair and of course this compact disc playing on your home stereo. So go on indulge yourself, that's right, kick off your shoes, put your feet up, lean back and and just enjoy the melodies. After all, music soothes even the savage beast....

For me the most impressive start or Intro to a CD was Satoshi Tomiie's Nubreed 6, first CD first record. Don't remember the name, but damn...that's heavy shit to start a set.

i think sasha rules the roost on intro's. Chiva chant to Beatiful monday on the glastonbury mix is awesome, but i really like the moonpark intro, can't remeber the track, but it was an unreleased edit or mix of one of the Airdrawndager tracks, into the Quest and the the dirty fours, brilliant stuff.

Pity for sasha its usually all downhill after the intro

also an honourable mention to Zabiela for the ALive intro-the number one

I agree this is a sick track to open set. I had to buy this record as soon as I heard the opening.

....and i thought you didn't like any good music Jenks....

the intro was the month after from the DJ mag awards at Bedrock, the set was from the 3rd birthday the month after with Sasha, incredible night that was, Warm up from Cattaneo then 3 hours of S&D, fucking rammed in there though.

                              it's amazing even on cd.
