damn....btw if it was fraudulent, your bank should refund your money. I had $700 stolen from my bank account when someone swiped my debit card at a club in DC and within the next morning at 11:00 am, they rang up nearly $700 (of which $400 were at an Old Navy store). I filed a complaint, cancelled my card and my bank refunded the money to me.

I had lost my cc once. So I called the cc co. and cancelled. They said they'll send a new one within 7 days.

I never got it. So I called to see whats up.

They checked and said $450 was charged on it!!!

I said WTF! I never even got it let alone activiated from my home phone; how is this possible?

They had no clue. So they issued me another new card and a completely new account number.

Well that fucking $450 charged stayed in my account for nearly a whole year, while I tried to get credit for it.. I fucking canned and cused that company out!!!! Fucking faggot ass cocksuckers!!!

I think Banks are nicer and better to deal with.

but the bank is legal bound to refund the money to u. Unless of course you passed on your card or pin. but if its from card cloning or identity theft they are liable to refund the full amount. they are insured for shit like this!

Yeah same shit happened to me. Ģ2000 they stole and had a good night in London staying in a hotel shopping all in a day/night.

When i checked out my account (which i do daily if poss) and saw the money was gone i went to my local branch of my bank. Spoke to someone face to face and said that i wasn't leaving til i got my money back into my account today. ( i was nice but firm about it). Anyway they did transfer the money back into my account and said that they would investigate what had happened. They did say that if there was a fault on my behalf they would take the money back.
Fair enough.
5 weeks later my bank calls me up and tells me that it wasn't possable for me to be in London that day/night, sorry this has happened to me blah blah blah.
That was 2 years ago.

This shite has happened to alot of people i know, i am always careful with my card info so i don't know how this happened in the first place.
I was happy at the way the bank handled my case, mybe going down in person helped.
Just try and be careful which i'm sure everyone does.

Might be a good idea to have a separate checking account for your debit card where you keep only a small amount of money in it.
