              I saw that, but didn't think it would have very much use in GYY ... Usually I'd use the thread icons like the question or exclaimation mark to denote thread purpose ...

                                  well thats just a demo right now, they haven't setup a time frame for release yet but I imagine sometime end Dec early Jan. And this is just a tiny version update i.e. going from 3.6.8 to 3.7 and they're already dropping hints of version 4.0

                                      question is do you want to run with 3.7 Beta when it gets put out after feedback, or give it a few more weeks until 3.7 final hits.

                                      4.x is gonna be big...bet a lot gets re-written and modified.

                                                      We'll take care to install the pre-alpha version to be sure to fuck the board up really hard, don't worry. Normally it is better to wait a bit because after bigger upgrades they release mini releases afterwards to fix problems or include user feedback related to new options. Also these updates come with security updates regularly as well and don't include only new options so we need them at some stage anyways to keep the board secure (and alive).
