Blatant I'm on serious drugs post. I was at this night. It was appalling, PVD wears the emperors new clothes. There where at least 15 Essential mixes from 1999 alone better than this one.

I remember the HOME one they gave Oakie the night off and he played Cream in Liverpool. He played a set very similar to the LA set. Mercury & Solace, Delirium Silence, Crazy Malumate etc

I was actually hoping for the Pete Tong set. It was one of the first sets I've ever listened to, and opened my eyes to this beautiful world of electronic music.

it might not be the best e-mix, but it is damn sure a memorable one. tong played surprisingly well, and yeah, the track selection was tops.
