I'm with kinkyj on the whole "belgian style" thing. When i want a "belgian style" beer, i'll go straight to the source, and drink a belgian beer. I'm not drinking a knock off replica from some American brewery like New Belgium (fine brewery tho.) When i want a cheap ass american beer, i don't go to belgicum for a replica, I open a hometown budweiser- and laugh if you wish, but it has it's place: Summer, July, Saturday, Noon, sun beating down, field level seats, first pitch @ Busch Stadium...and a $8.75 plastic cup of Budwesier...mmmmm, heaven.
any discussion of beer should begin and end with Guinness. Lots of other good ones out there, but it's the cream of the crop...
i tell everyone who says that guiness is their favourite beer to try this one instead. tons better than guiness, much more flavour and taste. look for the draught cans with the widget like the guiness cans, not the bottles. you wont be disappointed.

B L A S P H E M Y !!!!!!!!!!
I do dig me some youngs double choc stout tho, it just isn't Guiness, and it's kinda an odd comparison tbh. It's like someone asking for a BMW and the salesman goes and gets a Mercedes. Both nice, not the same car at all tho.
Damn it Jeff you beat me to it.
Not sure what the hell Delirium Tremens is
but it sure gets you f'd up damn fast
Speakeasy is also pretty solid.
And Samichlaus is a total headbanger, three or four of these and it's right to the Bombay Gin and the 1pm "What Happen?"

Let me get this straight.
So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...
all time fav. guiness. but i vary widely. american pales, ipa's, blondes, a few hefeweizens. drink a lot of different lighter colored euro beers. not so big on porters or stouts. also will drink mexican or aisian with food at a resturaunt, but rarely at home by theirselves.
Damn it Jeff you beat me to it.

Funny that you ask!... I just recently had this beer and found it to be quite to my liking. Delirium Tremens is an extremely advanced symptom of alcoholism, wherein the afflicted individual begins to tremble and shake uncontrollably and hallucinate if he or she goes into withdrawal from alcohol. It's basically your nerves dying. Generally followed soon thereafter by death.
