When i saw GZA live, he performed with a live 3 piece band (bass, keyboards, drums) that played all the old Wu beats and GZAs solo stuff. Soooo raw. Everytime i hear people say rap is shit, i wish i could take them back to that show.

i agree with the most of the replies here.. this new rap music is complete shit... there are some exceptions like some of the underground stuff (Papoose). although, there is nothing compared to hip hop turntablists, what they do is amazing shit.

i prefer old school hiphop, like wu tang, 2pac, run dmc, public enemy

-hip hop producers straight up school house, techno, etc music producers in the studio. fact.

-everyone talks about who's the best dj, this dj is a bad ass, etc etc...real hip hop djs smoke the likes of digweed and gang in terms of skill and it ...aint... even... close.

yea 2 words on that front funkmaster flex..i like alot of the underground mix tape djs..Ron G,Dirty Harry,Even DJ Clue on his mix tapes is really good.DJ Juice.if you can get ahold of some of his old skool mix tapes when the movie New Jersey Drive was big..those are what legends are made from.heck dj rectangle is pretty solid.
