Miroslav, i can relate - that is one of the primary reasons i finally made my mixes - i wanted to document the tracks that i love listening to, it is always a joy to find other people who equally enjoy the same style of music that i am into

The Jass has another mix currently streaming on the Robots page that is possibly even better.

thanks pr0ficient, i hope that every proceeding mix is better than the previous - now that i have completed my fourth mix, i really feel that it is an evolution, the process of selecting the tracks and editing / arranging the songs is becoming more complicated - yet more refined at the same time.

Cant wait to check out the new Jass mix. His other two mixes were in heavy rotation for a while.

i appreciate the anticipation code11, but i take a long time between my mixes, like a film director - for the last two years i auditioned 179 different tracks, and cast 57 of them for the 80 minute feature. since january, i spent the last eight months arranging the scenes, editing down the tracks, creating my own songs (one of which made the cut), mixing the transitions, and mastering the levels.

i don't think i've ever been actually scared to listen to a mix, until now.

if "endlessly elapsing evil" was scary..."fear forges feedback" digs further down the rabbit hole and it only gets darker, but when you live in the darkness - the lightest shadows appear to as bright as the sun - Chiaroscuro - what was dark three years ago seems light today, i am continuing my search for deepest matte of black...




denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance are themes of the fourth .thejass. mix: "fear forges feedback", an 80 minute set of 57 tracks forged to cure the fear of loss with heavy doses of sonic feedback, and prescribed to listeners deprived by death. The diagnosed audio side effects are fragmentary breaths of electric guitars, pupils enlarge from blackened soundscapes, the jaw is opened through distressed vocals, limbs become rigid in uncirculated noise, fingers curl into a doom metal claw, and finally, a static stare towards mysterious cinematic tones conclude the aftermath of loss.
