New Mix: Hey...are you ok? [mnml-tech]

It's been a while, so now that the school quarter is finally over I finally got back on the decks tonight and came up with this...I think this may be the mix I'm happiest with of any that I've put out in public. There are some stormers on here, in my opinion...

As usual, this is all old school - vinyl records, 2 turntables. All live in one take, no edits. Lots of tracks mixed 2 or 3 minutes deep at times, but still within CD burnable length.
I hope someone enjoys...pls let me know what you think.

              2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
              3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...

Thanks for the mix, I really enjoyed it. Smooth mixes and very nice track selection. I also like seeing that many tracks on a set. It didn't seem to drag during any part of it which was good, nice one.

Re: New Mix: Hey...are you ok? [mnml-tech]

^^ thanks Jib & Quadlow for the kind words...I'm glad that it's not just me over here who enjoys these kinds of sounds every now and then! I don't get to do these mixes as often as I'd like thanks to an insane school schedule, so when I do I try to make it count and throw in a lot of stuff

I usually enjoy a lot of tracks in a minimal set myself...I love the sound and the style, but I'll be the first to admit that I'll often get bored of listening to the same minimal groove for 6-7 minutes. So, I try to keep changing up the layers and build something that's minimal yet also just melodic enough (keeps the challenge interesting, too, since I'm still doing it on the 1s and 2s). I'm coming up on my winter break now, so maybe I'll have something else to post on here before long...
