Deep Mariano was born in 1981 in the city of Rosario, Argentina. At the age of 6 he was exposed to and started to learn how to play the piano via his mother, aunt, and cousins.

He always loved all kind of music and was introduced to House music in 1998. House music was something new, something fresh, and something different than anything he had heard before. He loved the sound so much that he started to research information about dj's, producers, labels, and tried to know everything there was to know about the electronic music scene.

His biggest inspirations at this time were artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, and Jimmy Van M to name a few.

In the year 2000, Deep Mariano took his first step as a DJ by playing a small club in his home city. During this time, he started to gain attention from fans and respect from local dj's who in turn would invite him to play at there events. While being excepted and becoming a part of the local dj scene, Mariano started to make friends and gain local recognition. By the year 2001, Deep Mariano was playing bigger venues with a capacity of 1000 people.

Deep Mariano's initial sound was a blend of House, Techno, Tech-house, and Progressive House. However, in 2002, he found the sound that he was in search of when he heard the "Perfecto South America presents Hernan Cattaneo" mix cd compilation. For Deep Mariano, this was and still is a masterpiece that introduced him to and ultimately led him to the deep progressive house sound that has become his trademark today.

Deep Mariano has established a large following in Argentina and has had the privilege of playing along side dj's such as John Digweed, Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier, Luke Fair, Desyn Masiello, Plastique Vision, MOS, Martin Garcia, and Spitfire to name a few.

Aside from his achievements as a dj, Deep Mariano has also been busy in the studio since 2002 working on his own productions. His production work has caught the attention of Dj's and Producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, G Pal, Barish Turker, Chris Salt, Mos, Martin Garcia, Alican, Shiloh, and Jason Jollins to name a few.

At the current age of 23, Deep Mariano is starting to gain world-wide recognition as a dj and a producer. His monthly radio show "Freequenzy", featured every 3rd Wednesday on www.mercurynation.com & www.eccentricbeats.com have given Deep Mariano exposure that spans well beyond Argentina.

While Deep Mariano is still learning and growing as a dj / producer, his love for house music, his talent, and his achievements are quickly becoming recognised on a global level. And it is the combination of these three things that are what drives Deep Mariano's vision. A vision to share the music that he is so passionate about on a global level.
