That used to be the predominant toilets in Singapore but they're being phased out now. You still find one or two of them in the toilets for people who're too used to squatting.

As many of you know who have travelled to Greece, it has an archaic plumbing system that was old when Hercules was a boy.
(Hell it doesn't even take toilet paper which must be disposed of in the waste bin)

Anyway, I once tested the limits of this system when I gave birth to a masterpiece I called the Delphic Column when I was staying at a hotel in Delphi.

It had the texture of polished red-brown granite and had conveniently taken the dimpled wavy form of the last foot and a half of my large bowel.

Needless to say I popped a few veins in my head giving birth to this marvel of fecal fortitude and the hotel manager was none to pleased when he had to be called up to dispose of my architectural wonder.

Strangely enough, I do not recall feeling any colder.
