Help [ms] make money - sell archives on DVD?

I dont know what Kamal or TomTom thinks, or if this could be legal or not, but i would gladly pay like 50$ or something for the back archives of Diggers and Hernans mix shows on DVD. I'd love to have them organized with tracklistings etc. I have been off and on collecting diggers since his show started but it is going to take me forever to fill in the gaps and organize it all. I dont know if you guys would consider something like this, but I'd be all for it.


I dont know if this is not good since you would technically be making money off the sets, but its for the site and not for your new BMW fund.


Any thoughts?

that sounds awesome...but alas it also sounds very much legally questionable to me. I'm no lawyer, but I would definitely talk to a few before doing it (not to mention Digweed's people). As soon as you take material created by commercially established artists and start independently selling it for profit, I think you risk having a bunch of lawyers representing everyone from Digweed to Digweed's distribution/label partners to Kiss/Metrodance to probably even the RIAA all breathing down your neck accusing you of bootlegging copyrighted/restricted material.

there are already people doing that kind of thing.
Agree with Miroslav also
for all the effort, plus the time, versus the demand
would not be worthwhile.
Good idea nonetheless.

im not saying its not a good idea, this site is already in the grey area by providing music for free. i would want a archive too but if money is being exchanged, the government will want to get involved.

Bad idea in my opinion..Leave the site as is...Once you start "pimping" the site..It can only go downhill from there..People getting pissed about sales of sets, etc....Not good karma.

yes this is defo against the law, I wouldn't want to push it any other way. Its pretty simple to download the archives, which is why they were setup. if you are having trouble downloading from the archives or have a suggestion to help us improve content delivery, I would be happy to hear it.

yeah, thats why i was wondering and mentioned that. too bad looks like i am going to have to use up some bandwith soon too bad i dont have fios otherwise i wouldnt mind hosting an ftp site.
