Actually I very please with the sound quality. You can eq it if you want more control. I feel the device replicates sound easily. If you are going to even consider a portable device as a professional sound instrument you have to be mistaken. There is not one single mobile device that can come close to a good amped home stereo.

My point is why pay a lot more money for a mediocre quality (at best) player when you can pay so much less for a device that's much better in every aspect? That'd be like paying $60K for a Ford Taurus and expecting it to perform the same as a mid-range M from Infiniti.
